A quick history on the Waterproof bivy's produced by Tennier Industries. If you notice I did NOT say Gortex. That is because for over the last 10 years, Tennier Industries, the manufacture of them, does NOT use Gortex Brand Fabric.
That's right, Tennier DOES NOT USE GORTEX BRAND Fabric.
Tennier uses a Mil Spec waterproof Membrane similar to GORTEX Brand. Gortex Brand, would NOT warranty the fabric, so Tennier started using another Mil Spec waterproof membrane. It's like saying Kleenex instead of Tissue. It performs exactly the same. These are BRAND NEW taken from unopened Manufactures cases!! and Most likely will not say Gortex.
